Website Promo Video

Categories: Motion Graphics, Work

A little motion graphics piece I did for Swamp @ Brahm to illustrate the new features of a website they’d been putting a lot of hard work into.

The concept for the piece was by the creative guys and girls at Swamp, but they left it up to me to interpret their brief and this is how it turned out.

The whole thing was created layer by layer in After Effects, using the 3D layers and camera. Most of the mouse cursor movement etc is animated within AE, only a couple of bits are actual screen captures of the new site as it wasn’t live at the time we made this.

    nice work!
what about the logo? did you animate that or was that provided?

Nice piece, couldnt find your name on the site, shame.

Cheers Andy. I’ve had that comment a few times recently, about not been able to find out who I actually am – and it is there, just hidden up in the top right after you click on the little ‘info’ icon. I’ve got a redesign (another one!) in the works anyway so info like that will be a lot clearer pretty soon :)
